Spinal flow works with your nervous system to identify and release physical, chemical and emotional blockages. These blockages can lead to pain, disease and illness.
Your body has the innate ability to heal itself. With a gentle touch on the 33 access points around the cranium, sacrum and coccyx/tailbone (where the dura mater is closest to the skin), a signal reverbs throughout your entire nervous system. Your nervous system recognizes where this signal is interrupted and gets to work removing the layers of blockages, sending more movement, lifeforce energy, breath and ease throughout your body. It can quickly reduce pain, anxiety and other symptoms of chronic illness. This technique works faster and results last longer than any other technique I have experienced!
Hands-on sessions last up to a half hour, fully clothed. Easy commitment for a better life and frame of mind!
Massage cupping is the combination of massage movements and negative pressure with the use of a suction device on the skin. The produced vacuum creates a suction effect that increases blood and lymphatic circulation systemically and to the local area, relaxes muscle tissue, draws stagnation, pathogenic factors and toxins out of the body and releases a myriad of pain causing factors. The intended suction can range from light to heavy.
CranioSacral Therapy is a gentle yet powerful technique that is effective in releasing neck pain, back pain, and mental stress (among other things). It does this by optimizing the movement of cerebrospinal fluid through the spine and around the skull. Developed by physician William Sutherland, this therapy provides a very soothing and relaxing healing experience.
Total Body Balancing (TBB) is a total body evaluation and a 5-phase treatment approach. TBB uses long levers (arms, legs, head/neck or torso) and rhythmic mobilization to release tension in the muscles, fascia, joint capsules and ligaments to improve circulation, nerve, and energy flow. This helps to normalize sympathetic and parasympathetic neurological activity while the use of long levers maximizes effect with less effort on behalf of the practitioner. This long lever approach of rhythmic mobilization influences all systems of the body including the lymphatic, the visceral and the craniosacral, myofascial and musculoskeletal systems and serves as an overall support and integration for specific treatment. This is called a maximal approach and treats the body as a whole.
Gua sha is rooted in traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). According to the principles of TCM, your qi (pronounced “chi”), or energy, must flow throughout your body so you can feel your best. When qi becomes stagnant in certain areas, it’s believed that health problems can occur. With gua sha, a practitioner will use a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape areas of your body where there is inflammation or stagnant qi to help improve circulation and promote healing.
Lymphatic cupping massage is a healing therapy that uses suction cups to create a vacuum that lifts and spreads the tissue. This helps to drain excess fluid and toxins, increase blood and oxygen delivery, and relieve pain and inflammation. The therapy affects the lymph, blood, fascia, muscle, scars, and skin. It is a non-invasive and ancient technique that originated from China and Egypt.
